Krusinski Completes Sortation Center Build-Out for Large E-Commerce Client

Krusinski Construction Company (KCC) has completed the build-out of a 516,762-SF sortation center in DeKalb, IL equipped to support high-volume warehouse operations for a major e-commerce client. The project transformed the facility into a high-functioning space built for efficiency and functionality.

The build-out included infrastructure enhancements, extended power and data throughout the facility and operational upgrades such as IDF cabinets, SDEN, water cooler drops, joint fill and traffic control devices. Exterior improvements featured building-mounted signage and maintenance work giving the facility a refreshed look that complements its upgraded capabilities.

Conveniently located off Interstate 88, this project demonstrates KCC’s expertise in systems integration, electrical and data distribution and logistics design delivering solutions that support productivity and operational growth.

BL Companies served as both Architect and M/E/P Engineer while Connelly Electric Company provided Electrical Engineering services.
