Krusinski Construction Company (KCC) has commenced construction on a new two-story, 5,000-SF full-service banking center, located in the heart of St. John, Indiana, for Wintrust Community Bank, further expanding Wintrust’s presence across Northwest Indiana. This ground-up building establishes a new partnership between KCC and Wintrust Community Bank.
The facility will provide retail, business and mortgage banking services, along with drive-thru access and modern banking amenities designed to support both customers and employees.
“Wintrust is thrilled to be opening our next community bank in St. John,” said Timothy Lovell, CEO of Old Plank Trail Community Bank. “This community continues to grow and thrive, and we’re excited to bring our local approach to banking to residents and businesses in the area.”
For more than 30 years, Wintrust has served communities across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Florida through its network of community banks, offering a full range of financial services backed by a local, customer-first approach.
Situated on an existing one-acre site, the facility will feature a contemporary design with high-security banking infrastructure, updated office space and enhanced site and parking improvements to support accessibility and efficiency.
“Krusinski is proud to help deliver an elevated customer experience for the St. John community,” said Kuy Parker, Project Manager at Krusinski Construction Company. “This modern facility will showcase Krusinski’s ability to deliver a high-quality building to support business operations for Wintrust.”
Krusinski is committed to maintaining a safe, clean and efficient worksite to minimize disruptions to the adjacent corporate neighbors and the community.
Construction began in January 2026 and will follow an efficient schedule to deliver the project on time and on budget, with completion in August 2026.
