CHICAGO, IL (November 12, 2020) – Krusinski Construction Company (KCC) is proud to announce that two of its projects have been named finalists at NAIOP Chicago’s 33rd Annual Awards for Excellence across various categories.

In the ‘Industrial Build-To-Suit Development of the Year’ and ‘Broker Transaction for Industrial’ categories, Ferrara Candy Company's Distribution and Pack Center at ChicagoWest Business Center in DeKalb, Illinois is nominated in partnership with Trammel Crow Company. Designed by Harris Architects, Inc., this site is made up of a 1,222,400-square-foot distribution center (DC) and a 466,600-square-foot pack center (PC) situated on 72-acres and 42-acres, respectively, within the ChicagoWest Business Center.

Nominated for ‘Industrial Redevelopment of the Year’ award is our 623,000-square-foot Chariot Logistics Center. Formerly being the historic, 1946 Maywood Park Racetrack, this site was redeveloped to house three, Green Globes-Certified warehouse buildings. Ridgeline Development selected its new name Chariot Logistics Center to pay homage to the site’s history. Learn more about our work on this project through the link in our bio.
