Krusinski Construction Company (KCC) recently completed a 57,031-SF tenant improvement project for Monroe Truck Equipment, which included a full renovation of an existing warehouse and office space owned by Ketone Partners. KCC has a deep partnership with Ketone spanning over 5 years, with multiple projects together across Illinois.
The build-out featured a first and second floor office renovation with private offices, break room, conference room, training room, reception area and parts floor to accommodate Monroe’s growing operation. Situated on a 15.5-acre site, Krusinski renovated this space to accommodate the manufacturing and truck equipment operation, complete with an enhanced space fitted with specialized tools, equipment and systems.
“We are thrilled to deliver Monroe with a tailored manufacturing facility fitted with heavy machinery and an expert design to enhance their operational space,” said Nate Tenpas, Project Manager. “It’s great to support Ketone Partners with another project and continue to grow our portfolio of manufacturing work across the Illinois landscape.”
The warehouse was fitted with welding stations, paint booths, a maintenance bay and a high-bay racking system for additional storage and space. The design also included specialized heavy machinery, an interior oil storage space and a distribution area.
Monroe’s most exclusive piece of functional equipment includes a multi-hoist bridge crane with four independent hoists, each supporting up to two tons.
This new construction building’s exterior façade received a fresh coat of paint, in addition to a branded upgrade on the first and second floor office space to fit Monroe’s vision and style.
