Located within The Peninsula Chicago in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood, this project involved the renovation of Pierrot Gourmet, a luxury French-European café.
The transformed dining space features a floating drywall ceiling, custom LED lighting, mirrors, ceramic and luxury vinyl tile flooring, and detailed millwork throughout. Upgraded food service elements include ovens, glass shelving, refrigerated display units, and refurbished French double doors with new hardware and a bold, green finish. New granite countertops and cabinetry were installed at multiple service stations.
Back-of-house upgrades included the installation of new kitchen equipment, plumbing fixtures, and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) wall panels. The project also included lobby enhancements with new carpet tile and acoustical ceilings, along with a fully renovated restroom featuring updated finishes and modern touchless fixtures.
