Meta-Facebook’s 900,000-SF Data Center is located inside of the ChicagoWest Business Park in DeKalb, Illinois. Our work included the site and infrastructure for approximately 1.5 miles of deep gravity trunk sanitary sewer to accommodate 4 million gallons per day. Three miles of 16-inch watermain provided three connection sources to the City of DeKalb’s watermain system and improvements were made to the two miles of Class 11 roadways on the site.
Traffic improvements included the widening and overlay of Gurler Road with a turn lane into the new distribution and package center. This was the first phase to the project.
