A multi-phased project of a 32,100-SF ground-up addition to an existing warehouse facility for Loaves & Fishes. The project includes a 3,200-SF cooler and 2,300-SF freezer, along with installing secondary water, gas and electrical utilities to the building and surrounding corporate neighbors.
The addition will expand Loaves & Fishes parking capabilities and create an updated new secondary depressed dock for full-sized semi trucks. The phased logistics approach minimizes disruption to staff and volunteer operations during construction and prioritizes safety.
Hub 2.0 expansion project is part of Loaves & Fishes’ Nourish Together campaign that will increase capacity, expand dry and cold storage, and meet the demand for access to healthy food. Once complete, the expanded facility will allow them to serve 2–3 times more people across the community.
