Krusinski Construction Company places an extremely high value on safety.
Safety does not just happen, however. It requires commitment, planning, clearly defined policies and a strict culture that involves every person employed by Krusinski Construction Company. In 2006 and 2007, KCC had zero OSHA recordables and zero lost days.
Lead by the company’s corporate safety officer, who is an OSHA outreach trainer, Krusinski has an intense program that includes regularly scheduled safety classes in the company’s in-house training facility on on-the-job safety meetings.
All field supervisors are 30-hour trained and all other field and office personnel are 10-hour trained to assure that the entire corporate culture reinforces a safe working environment on the field and in the office. Also, KCC has three Associates who are trained in 130-hour and two Associates who are OSHA out-reach trainers.
In addition, Krusinski Construction Company participated in the West Virginia Fall Safety Program administered though the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council. This participation has resulted in a 45.14 percent improvement with job site audits for fall safety.
A safer environment for employees and subcontractors, results in lower costs for clients.
