May - 2006CONTRACT AWARDED BY ORIX / RREEF Krusinski Construction Company has received a $1.5 million contract from ORIX Real Estate Equities Inc. and RREEF to complete a build-out at 1375 N. Weber Rd. in Romeoville, Ill. The 430,000-square-foot distribution center will be leased to Levy Home Entertainment.
Construction began on the build-out in late April. It is expected to be completed by mid July, according to Michael J. Metz, project executive.
Krusinski, which built the building as a spec warehouse in 2005 will add approximately 10,000 square feet of office space, including a shipping area and bathrooms. The project will also require the installation of extensive warehouse racking and a conveyor system.
The 30-acre site will feature 260 parking spaces, 49 interior docks and two drive-in doors.
The project superintendent is Chuck Onik. Julius Kwasek of Kwasek Architects is the project architect.
