April - 2006HUNTLEY INDUSTRIAL CONDOS COMPLETED Krusinski Construction Company recently completed a 30,656-square-foot industrial condominium building in the Bernat Industrial Center at 11520 Smith Drive in Huntley, Ill.
Located along Hwy. 47, close to I-90, the building includes nine industrial condos, ranging from 2,500 square feet to 3,600 square feet. Each unit accommodates up to 20 percent office space and has its own entrance, 200-amp electrical panel, utilities and drive-in door. An interior truck dock is accessible to all units.
According to Krusinski project executive Michael J. Metz, industrial condominiums are increasing in popularity due to the flexibility provided to tenants.
“The flexibility of the building makes it very appealing,” says Metz. “The units can be leased individually, in multi-unit clusters or even divided into two 1,500-square-foot spaces.”
Ralph Colmenares was the senior project superintendent. The architect was Al Arns of McHenry-based AGA Architects. Daniel C. Tobin of GVA Williams was the developer. |
