April - 2006KRUSINSKI BREAKS GROUND IN AURORA Krusinski Construction Company has been awarded several projects for The Vanstrand Group, a developer located in Aurora, Ill.
The first project is to build six industrial condominiums units at 340 Marshall Avenue in Aurora which will total 50,000 square feet, including 6,000 square feet of office space. It is the first of seven land parcels that will make up the Bell-Gale Business Park.
Each 8,000-square-foot condo will have 1,000 square feet of office space, 7,000 square feet of warehouse and a mezzanine for additional storage.
Krusinski broke ground on the project in November, and completion is expected in spring 2006, according to Jerry R. Krusinski, project executive. The site was formerly used as a manufacturing facility, which was demolished before construction began.
Joseph R. Krusinski, III is the project manager. Al Arns of McHenry-based AGA Architects is the architect.
Krusinski Construction Company also will work on two additional projects in Aurora with The Vanstrand Group including River Street Plaza, a $100 million downtown mixed-use development at River Street and Benton Street, and River Street Lofts, which will consist of 20 loft units at the northwest corner of River Street and Gale Street.
