November - 2005SCHWEITZER AWARDS PROJECT TO KRUSINSKI Krusinski Construction Company has been awarded a contract to expand and upgrade the office and warehouse areas for E.O. Schweitzer Manufacturing at 450 Enterprise Parkway in Lake Zurich, Ill.
Krusinski will add 5,000 square feet of office space to the 40,000-square-foot building, which will include an employee training area for 80-90 people and new bathrooms. The company also will expand the parking lot by approximately 45 spaces and upgrade the landscaping. In the manufacturing area, Krusinski will air condition the 35,000-square-foot space with 80 tons of cooling and add a humidifier, an air compressor with a distribution system, ventilation hoods and process power. A compressed air line will be installed throughout the process area.
Completion is expected in late December, according to Joseph R. Krusinski, III., project manager.
The project executive for Krusinski Construction Company is Jerry R. Krusinski. Tim Bereza is the project superintendent. The architect is Harlan Stoa of Kwasek Architects, which created the building’s original design.
E.O. Schweitzer Manufacturing is the electric power industry market leader in fault indicator technology. The company is a subsidiary of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
