June - 2005KRUSINSKI AWARDED AFFINITY PROCESSING SERVICES Krusinski Construction Company, Oak Brook, Ill., has received a $2.1 million contract from Affinity Processing Services to build a 30,000-square-foot addition to the company’s current headquarters at 580 Capital Drive in Lake Zurich, Ill. The addition, which will nearly double the company’s existing space, will include 25,000 square feet of additional warehouse space and 5,000 square feet of new office.
Construction began in April and is expected to be completed in November.
Krusinski, which constructed Affinity’s current building in 1998, also will add parking for approximately 37 cars, two truck docks and one drive-in door.
According to Joseph R. Krusinski III., project manager, the building can be separated in the future to house two tenants.
“We are building the expansion adjacent to the existing space. To allow Affinity to go between the two areas, crews will create openings in the south wall, which can be closed at a later date. The addition will have a separate entrance, parking lot, docks and a drive-in door,” he said.
Adam J. Nauman is the project superintendent for Krusinski Construction Company. Tommy Molina of Chicago-based Archideas is the architect.
Affinity Processing Services Inc., (APS) was founded in 1995 and has since become one of the largest direct mail and data processing facilities in the Midwest. The company processes and ships more than 72,000,000 images per month.
