KCC COMPLETES PROJECT FOR ELGIN PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

Krusinski Construction Company recently completed a 56,540-square-foot spec warehouse and office building for Elgin Property Development at 2475 Alft Lane in Elgin.

The 5,000-square-foot office area features three curtain walls of smoked black glass and green aluminum, while the warehouse is pre-cast concrete. The building sits on 3.5 acres, with five exterior docks and parking for approximately 87 cars.

Krusinski was challenged by winter weather conditions, which shut down construction for several weeks. A heating system was quickly installed to dry out the building and construction was completed in mid-April.

The project manager for Krusinski Construction Company was Joseph R. Krusinski III. The project superintendent was James Wilkinson. Kent Rehmer of Chicago-based Eckenhoff Saunders Architects was the architect.
