KCC AWARDED CONTRACT FOR AMB/SCHENKER

Krusinski Construction Company, Oak Brook, Ill., has begun work on a $1.48 million build-out for Schenker Logistics at 1800 Nicholas in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Krusinski, which previously constructed the $3.8 million, 25,000-square-foot building for AMB Property Corporation as a spec warehouse, will modify the building as an office facility and add a mezzanine, several bathrooms, a lunchroom with a coffee bar and three truck docks. Schenker, a provider of logistics services, will lease the building from AMB.

Construction began in January and will be completed by April. The project executive for Krusinski Construction Company is Michael J. Metz. The project superintendent is Michael Comiskey. The project architect is Gary Walsten of Kwasek Architects, Inc. of Inverness.
