REID WINS DIG AWARD

Rita A. Reid, executive administrative assistant for Krusinski Construction Company, has been named the 2005 first-quarter winner of the company’s DIG (Diversify, Improve, Grow) award.

Reid, a Woodridge, Ill. resident, earned the award for her work on the Krusinski internal newsletter. Since taking responsibility for the newsletter one year ago, she has redesigned it and added stories that highlight employee awards and announcements, a project of the month, company updates and trivia.

Reid has been with Krusinski for six years.

The DIG program was instituted as a way to involve every employee in company strategies for growth and profitability. Employees are encouraged to submit recommendations for cost savings, sales leads and productivity initiatives.

As a DIG winner, Reid received a cash bonus and a company lunch in her honor. In addition, her name will be added to a company plaque.
