DIG AWARD GOES TO BECKER

Krusinski Construction Company has named John R. Becker of Montgomery, Ill., the recipient of the second quarter 2008 DIG (Diversify, Improve, Grow) award.

Becker, who serves as a project engineer for Krusinski, received the award for his work on the company’s Comcast projects in McCook, Elmhurst, Ill, and Indianapolis. According to Project Manager Joseph R. Krusinski III, Becker was instrumental in securing the certificate of occupancy at the Elmhurst location, and assisted with the coordination of submittals, owner correspondence and requests for information. He also traveled weekly to Indianapolis to support the project superintendent and assist in the coordination of the vendors and subcontractors.

Becker, who has been with the company since 2006, received a cash bonus and a company lunch in his honor. In addition, his name will be added to a company plaque.

The DIG program was instituted as a way to involve every employee in company strategies for growth and profitability. Employees are recognized for submitting recommendations for cost savings, sales leads and productivity initiatives as well as for outstanding service to the company.
