December - 2007DIG WINNER ANNOUNCED Krusinski Construction Company has named James W. Wilkinson of Naperville, Ill., the 2007 fourth quarter winner of the company’s DIG (Diversify, Improve, Grow) award.
Wilkinson, pre-construction manager, received the award for his role initiating Earthworks software, a program that analyzes the ease or difficulty of site grading of specific parcels of land. This software enables the company to determine whether the soil on a particular site is suitable for construction, and provides clients with more detailed and precise budgets.
“Jim’s technical skills and civil engineering background have been an integral part to our growth in the last few years,” says Joseph R. Krusinski, CEO. “His pre-construction expertise sets us apart from our competition.”
Wilkinson, who has been with the company since 2004, received a cash bonus and a company lunch in his honor. In addition, his name will be added to a company plaque.
The DIG program was instituted as a way to involve every employee in company strategies for growth and profitability. Employees are recognized for submitting recommendations for cost savings, sales leads and productivity initiatives as well as for outstanding service to the company.
