November - 2007KRUSINSKI COMPLETES FED-EX FACILITY IN BEDFORD PARK Krusinski Construction Company has completed an interior build-out for a 183,360-square-foot warehouse and office at the Bedford Park Corporate Center, 5151 W. 73rd d St., Bedford Park, Ill for Ridge Property Trust. The building has been leased to Fed-Ex and will serve as a home delivery center.
Krusinski constructed the building’s shell in 2006 for Ridge Property Trust. Located on 13 acres, the Fed Ex facility features 178,160-square-feet of warehouse space and 5,200-square-feet of office space with 32-foot clear ceilings, 25 docks, four drive-in doors and parking for 142 cars. Other features include pre-cast concrete walls, a metal deck and a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof that is UV/heat resistant and environmentally friendly.
Krusinski Vice President Michael J. Metz was the project executive. Dominic Valvano was the project engineer and Tim Bereza was the superintendent. Michael Baumstark of Itasca-based Cornerstone Architects was the architect.
Bedford Park Corporate Center is comprised of three buildings totaling more than 1 million square feet of industrial, logistics and office space.
