June - 2007CLOWER ADDED TO STAFF AND KRUSINSKI TAKES NEW ROLE Jeffrey J. Krusinski, 33, has accepted the position of business development manager at Krusinski Construction Company. He previously served as its senior pre-construction manager. In addition, the company has added Christopher P. Clower, 28, to its pre-construction department as pre-construction manager, and Sarah Watson, 23, as receptionist.
“These changes reflect the progress of our growing business,” says Joseph R. Krusinski, CEO. “Jeff, who has helped build the pre-construction department into a significant profit center can be expected to bring the same energy to business development, and Christopher is a dynamic new addition to the team.”
In his new role, Krusinski, of Palos Park, will create and develop relationships with potential clients, while also maintaining and cultivating existing client relationships. Krusinski has been with the company since 1994 in various positions, including laborer, project engineer, assistant project manager, and most recently, senior pre-construction manager, a position he held for five years.
Krusinski holds an OSHA 10-hour certification and is a member of several industry organizations, including the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the American Subcontractors Association (ASA).
As pre-construction manager, Clower, a Channahon, Ill. resident, is responsible for securing proposals from subcontractors, evaluating the scope of Krusinski projects and providing cost analyses.
He previously worked at Harbour Contractors in Plainfield, Ill., where he served as an estimator for two years. Prior to that, Clower worked for The George Sollitt Construction Company in Wood Dale, Ill. He is a Purdue University graduate with a degree in building construction management.
Watson, a Glen Ellyn resident, joined Krusinski in January 2007 from Las Vegas where she worked at the JW Marriott Resort. She is a 2006 graduate of Carthage College in Wisconsin.
Krusinski recently added 3,500 square feet of office space to its headquarters to accommodate an expanded pre-construction department, and plans to hire three additional staff to fill expanding client demand (not only in pre con dept but company wide. Yvette Hianik will serve as the full-time administrative assistant for the department.
