March - 2007KRUSINSKI COMPLETES WM. W. MEYER FACILITY Krusinski Construction Company has completed a $6 million, 80,0000-square-foot manufacturing and office facility for Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. at 1700 Franklin Boulevard in Libertyville, Ill.
Meyer, a family-owned manufacturer of processing equipment, relocated more than 100 employees from its previous location in Skokie. The new facility includes 16,400 square feet of office space and 22-foot ceilings. In the manufacturing area, Krusinski worked with the owner and an electrical consultant to design a plant layout for 120 different machines, all with different electrical requirements. The 5.6-acre site includes 148 parking spaces, three exterior docks, four drive-in doors and an outdoor storage area.
Michael J. Metz served as project executive for Krusinski. Jeff Cali was the project superintendent, and Julius Kwasek of Kwasek Architects was the architect. Patricia Baldwin of Paine Wetzel represented Wm. W. Meyer & Sons in the land transaction.
