January - 2007COMCAST BUILDING COMPLETED IN WOODRIDGE Krusinski Construction Company has completed a $9.4 million, 80,000-square-foot call center for Comcast Cable Communications in Woodridge, Ill., at 10100 Woodward Ave.
The center, developed by ProLogis, employs more than 500 people, occupying 77,000 square feet of office space and 3,000 square feet of warehouse space. The office area features two separate computer rooms where dissipative tile was used for flooring to eliminate static electricity. In addition, in-floor duct work was installed in the general office to accommodate the vast amount of cabling needed for work stations
The new building is located on approximately 8.5 acres, and has parking for 536 cars.
John Haggerty of Lincolnshire-based Dobrin + Associates was the project architect for the exterior of the building. Keith Rabuse and Lori Ott of Dallas-based Gromatzky Dupree and Associates were the architects for the interior build-out.
Joseph R. Krusinski, III was the project manager, John Becker was the project engineer and John Krusinski was the senior project superintendent.
