WM. M. MEYER TO BUILD NEW FACILITY IN LIBERTYVILLE

Krusinski Construction Company recently received a $6 million contract to build a new manufacturing and office facility for Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. at 1700 Franklin Boulevard in Libertyville, Ill. The 80,000-square-foot building will include 16,400 square feet of office space, and feature 22-foot high ceilings and exposed construction. In the manufacturing area, Krusinski designed the building’s electrical system around the company’s assembly layout.

The 5.6-acre site will include 148 parking spaces, three exterior docks, four drive-in doors and an outdoor storage area. The new facility will employ more than 100 people. Meyer, a family-owned manufacturer of processing equipment, is currently located at 8261 Elmwood Avenue in Skokie.

Completion of the project is expected in February 2007, according to Michael J. Metz, project executive for Krusinski. Shawn M. Barry is the project superintendent. Julius Kwasek of Kwasek Architects is the architect.

Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. is a world leader in the manufacture of dry bulk material processing equipment, pneumatic conveyors, dust collectors, insulation blowing machines and vacuum collection systems.
